De Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) heeft een voorlopig onderzoek uitgevoerd naar het GOS-regioteam Northern Lights en heeft bewijs gevonden van schendingen van het ESIC Integrity Program. Als gevolg hiervan kregen vijf spelers een tijdelijke schorsing.

Deze spelers zijn eerder gesanctioneerd door de Zweedse Eliteserien League. Avoy, Fraaank en frigolito kregen elk een verbod van een jaar matchfixingterwijl Meinz en Axelen permanent verboden zijn – met speciale straffen voor Axelen bedriegen.
Meaning of the Provisional SuspensionUnder this decision, Northern Lights and its players are suspended from all ESIC Member events, including qualifiers and online stages, until the ongoing investigation is concluded.
If a final sanction is issued later, the duration of this temporary suspension will be deducted from the total penalty period.

Additionally, Northern Lights and its players retain the right to appeal the decision within the framework of ESIC regulations.
